Vista is Broken
Vista has been out for a day or something and its already broken. If cars came out with as many problems as windows they would be recalled and the business shut down. I am suprised people are so complacent about their broken before purchased machines. The way I see it, windows is like a 16 year old girl driving a car. Completely oblivious to her surroundings while trying to communicate with the rest of the world completely unaware of the impending doom that awaits the poor car in a matter of minutes. Now I say girl because a guy would be racing a car and crash into something, windows, well when it crashes it certainly isn't racing to do anything beforehand, usually it just 'happens.' Good night.
P.S. I will wait until SP3 comes out on this one. If you look at the trends, I say it sounds reasonable. Win95, good, Win98 Second Edition (SP1), WinXP SP2. So as you can see there is a linear trend with these on their service packs. I didn't add WinME because it was a fluke, just a revenue generating beast to fuel Redmond until WinXP. I think the problem here is you cannot make an operating system that uses the same API calls as windows (copyright?) so you would never make something better than windows which would be compatible with all the current software. So microsoft is the first and only company that can offer a usable interface to utilize all your software. In my opinion, MS needs government caps on revenue as well as benchmarks that if they don't meet them they are fined. First bench mark, making an OS completely reliable. I don't think it is that difficult, just time consuming. Ok enough of my geekspeil. Night again.
